SUBSTANCE: platform for mounting auxiliary devices on civilian small arms includes a lower strap adjacent to the receiver, an upper strap and a removable cover. The lower strap is attached to the barrel using an overlay located inside the rear backsight post, and has a rear part that rests against the front end of the receiver. The rear part of the lower strap has a counterpart that fits into the front end of the receiver.
EFFECT: increase in operational characteristics, eliminating direct contact of parts of the platform with the barrel of a small arms weapon.
