FIELD: field of the gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention allows restoring the performance of a gas compressor unit (GCU), which includes a gas turbine engine (GTE) with a gas-air path (FAP), due to effective flushing (cleaning) of the internal working surfaces of the high-pressure compressor (HPC) from 9 to 15 steps. The washing solution is supplied by an additional nozzle installed in the LKSD 7-8 hatch using the mounting nut, directly to the HPC inlet, bypassing the stages of the low-pressure compressor (LPC) and the medium pressure compressor (MPC). Due to the redirection of some cleaning solution from the inlet in the LPC to the HPC inlet, the cleaning solution reaches the last stages of the HPC.

EFFECT: complete restoration of the operational characteristics of the GTE, effective cleaning of the FAP from all GTE stages from carbon deposits, a reduction in the consumption of the fuel mixture during the subsequent GTE operation, and keeping of the service life of the gas generator.
