SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for the mechanical shutdown of electrical devices with initiation from an aerosol-forming or gas-forming fire extinguishing system. The device comprises a housing (7) and a module (1) with an aerosol-forming or gas-forming composition, and at the same time it additionally comprises a bimetallic plate (2) with one end rigidly fixed in the housing (7) and configured for bending when it is heated by a jet of heated aerosol or gas from module (1) with an aerosol-forming or gas-forming composition, a latch (3) configured to hold the drive lever (4) in the cocked state, a spring (6) pushing the drive lever (4) to turn off the mechanism of the electrical device, the lever lock. The device can be used for prompt emergency shutdown of electrical equipment when exposed to high temperatures, for example, in case of fire, as well as overload or shorting.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of primary fire extinguishing with an increase in the efficiency of preventing the spread of fire in a confined space, in particular, such as an electrical panel, with simultaneous opening of the electrical circuit.
