FIELD: electrical engineering; light industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of manufacturing ceramic materials. The method for manufacturing porcelain products with catalyst waste consists in crushing the mixture, which includes stone and clay components and catalyst waste, preparing a slurry, drying and firing the samples, where quartz-feldspar raw materials are used as the stone component, a spent cracking catalyst is used as catalyst waste, which is introduced into the mixture together with clay and kaolin after grinding quartz-feldspar raw materials. The resulting slurry is dehydrated to a moisture content of 14.5-17.0% during moulding by pressing and to a moisture content of 21.5-24.5 % when moulded by extrusion.
EFFECT: simplifying the technological process and reducing the cost of production of porcelain products by reducing technological operations, the number of crushed components, the cost of materials used, saving energy and labour costs while maintaining the quality of porcelain products.
