SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is claimed, including a method for lowering the temperature and sorption of combustion and explosion products in mine workings and tunnels and a device for its implementation. The method includes lowering the temperature of combustion and explosion products due to the evaporation of carbon dioxide and subsequent absorption of combustion and explosion products on a finely dispersed coal sorbent. Carbon dioxide in the liquid phase is placed in pressurized tanks. The temperature of the combustion and explosion products is decreased by counter-propagation of carbon dioxide after the temperature sensors have been triggered. Sensors are placed on the path of propagation of combustion and explosion products. Sorption of combustion and explosion products is carried out with a finely dispersed coal sorbent sprayed in a mine working with a stream of carbon dioxide leaving the tanks.

EFFECT: development of a universally applicable method and device for localization and sorption of combustion and explosion products.
