FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a breathing air heater. The air heater includes a tube, a heating element, a control unit and a power supply. The heater contains an air humidifier consisting of a reservoir with a capillary tube and an ultrasonic membrane installed in the upper part of the reservoir, and a fan configured to supply air flow through the tube. The air humidifier is connected to the tube in the area of the tube outlet, and the ultrasonic membrane is installed in the side hole of the tube located in the area of the tube outlet.
EFFECT: technical result is the development of a design of a breathing air heater which will exclude air dehydration when it is heated.
