FIELD: powder metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: production of electrodes for electrospark alloying, used in various industries for applying anti-friction and wear-resistant protective bronze coatings on machine parts for various functional purposes. The method includes electrospark dispersion of any bronze waste in distilled water at an electrospark dispersion unit at a pulse repetition rate of 172-174 Hz, an electrode voltage of 140-160 V and a capacitor capacitance of 65 μF, further isostatic pressing of the resulting powder with alternation of the required modes and its sintering. The formed briquette is cut into electrodes with a section of 6×6 mm and at least 30 mm long.

EFFECT: obtained electrode for electrospark alloying provides high-quality transfer of the electrode material to the treated surface, prevents sticking of the electrode in the contact zone, and provides a surface microrelief with low roughness.
