FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing benzyldimethyl[3-(myristoylamino)propyl]ammonium chloride monohydrate (BDMPAC MG). The method includes two stages. At the first stage, myristic acid is reacted with 3-dimethylaminopropylamine to obtain N,N-dimethylaminopropylamide myristic acid in o-xylene, while N,N-dimethylaminopropylamide myristic acid is isolated with its simultaneous crystallization from acetonitrile. At the second stage, subsequent benzylation (quaternization) of the resulting 3-dimethylaminopropylamide of myristic acid with benzyl chloride is carried out to obtain benzyldimethyl[3-(myristoylamino)propyl]ammonium chloride monohydrate in acetonitrile and its crystallization to obtain pharmacopoeial benzyldimethyl[3-(myristoylamino)propyl]ammonium chloride monohydrate.
EFFECT: simplified synthesis of benzyldimethyl[3-(myristoylamino)propyl]ammonium chloride monohydrate and a high degree of purity.
