FIELD: data transmission.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in railway transport for transmitting information on board a vehicle via a wireless communication channel. To do this, the wireless data transmission system comprises a transmitter that includes a resonant circuit containing a SAW filter and a photodiode, a source of information signals with a frequency below the frequency of the resonant circuit, and an optical module connected in series, interacting with the photodiode of the resonant circuit through a fibre optic cable, and a reader connected in series with frequency of radiation of electromagnetic signals, equal to the frequency of the resonant circuit of the transmitter, and a decoder.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the transmission of a variable amount of time-varying data by using a resonant circuit, including a SAW filter and a photodiode, due to low insertion loss, high selectivity and a small squareness factor.
