SUBSTANCE: used in cutting tools designed for processing flat surfaces by milling. Cylindrical cutter contains teeth, made on one side with a constant face pitch. On the other side, the teeth are made with a variable non-repeating face pitch, with the first tooth located parallel to the cutter axis, and each subsequent i-th tooth is located relative to the previous (i-1)-th tooth with an angular inclination, which is determined from the above ratio.
EFFECT: improving the quality of the machined surface and the durability of the cutter.
