SUBSTANCE: sliding mechanism and a method for opening and closing a window or door. The retractable mechanism for the tilt-and-turn sash of a window or door contains a locking mechanism and a base part fixed on the frame, on which a means of transmitting force is installed, having a connecting element with a flap, moreover, the connecting element is a connecting element of a drive rod, so that the locking mechanism has a drive rod element with gate or locking pins located on it, moreover, the connecting element of the drive rod is located at the free end of the force transmission means and consists of a gripper located on the force transmission means and of a hook, so that the locking pin located on the connecting element abuts against the inner edge on the hook for automatically disconnecting the connecting element of the drive rod, while being in a closed position, the force transmission means and the locking mechanism of the flap, which is in the locking position, are movable by means of mechanical adjustment to the position of readiness for rotation, moreover, the locking pin adjacent to the inner edge of the folded open hook is located in the recess of the grip and is made with the possibility by means of the force transmission means mechanical transition to the rotary position of the flap and as mechanical retraction in the direction of the closed position of the force transmission means and in the direction of the blocking position of the flap, the release of the locking pin and the turn-open position of the sash is ensured, moreover, the hook has an additional inner edge, to which the locking pin in a supporting manner adjoins in the locked position of the connecting element of the drive rod and provides a mechanical retraction from the open folding position of the leaf to the folding position of the locking pin and further in the direction of the means of transmission of force in the closed position and in the direction of the locking pin of the locking mechanism of the locking pin in the locked position of the leaf, while the hook is open when in the gripping recess of the locking pin, when the force transfer means is applied from the closed position to the tilted position of the flap, before reaching the tilted position of the flap, it abuts against a guide element located on the flap and is connected to the locking pin during automatic closing, so that the base part has an arcuate segment of the guide, moreover, located in in the tilted position, the locking trunnion and the connecting element of the drive rod, adjacent to the guide element, following the force transmission means, provides a rotation of 90° and mechanical action to move the flap to the open folding position, and the technical result is achieved by moving the tilt-and-turn flap of a window or door by means of such a retractable mechanism.
