FIELD: power reactors.
SUBSTANCE: means for preventing resonant interaction of equipment oscillations in water-cooled power reactors with acoustically standing waves (ASW). In the method, signals of pressure pulsation and relative and absolute displacement are measured, the necessary signals are selected and their multi-channel recording is made, and automatic diagnosis is made as to which resonant frequency must be damped. Next, a signal corresponding to the ASW of the suppressed resonant frequency is given, the undesirable value of the ASW frequency is damped by changing the length of the pipeline filled with steam. The device contains sensors of pressure pulsation, relative displacement, absolute displacement, connected to the noise diagnostics system, an impulse safety device and a shut-off valve installed inside the pipeline, connected to the noise diagnostics system. The shut-off valve is movable along the axis of the pipeline.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and reliability of preventing the resonant interaction of vibrations of the equipment of water-cooled power reactors with acoustically standing waves.
