SUBSTANCE: stabilizing rod for the orthopedic joint stabilization aid has a flexible portion. The flexible section has at least one mesh tape. The stabilizing rod consists of a polymeric material. The stabilizing rod has a flexible rod and at least one mesh tape running on this flexible rod. The stabilizing rod, along with the flexible rod, has one mesh tape running on this flexible rod, or two mesh tapes running on this flexible rod, while at least one end of the stabilizing rod has a grip. The orthopedic joint stabilization aid includes the abovementioned stabilizing rod. The knee brace has the above two stabilizing rods extending along the length of the knee brace.
EFFECT: inventions provide simplification and reduction of production cost, facilitation of welding, greater lightness and/or prevention of damage to adjacent textiles.
