SUBSTANCE: stabilising rod for an orthopedic aid in the longitudinal direction has a first section and a second section. The first section and the second section are interconnected by a third flexible section. At least said third flexible section has recesses in the material. The recesses in the material are the deeper the more they are removed from the middle area of the third flexible section. Recesses in the material are formed by toothed elevations lying between the recesses in the material. Disclosed is an orthopedic aid including a stabilising rod and constituting a bandage made of an elastic material.
EFFECT: provided improved stabilising rod that is lighter, simpler, more convenient, not causing damage to the adjacent textiles.
