SUBSTANCE: method of cultivating amaranth and its mixtures according to the timing of sowing for green fodder yield during irrigation in permafrost includes autumn tillage in form of ploughing, covering with moisture in two tracks along and across, disk ploughing in two tracks along and across, pre-sowing tillage with application of mineral fertilizers in dose of N90P90K90 kg/ha of active ingredient, pre-sowing rolling, the first term of sowing of panicled amaranth in its pure form and in a mixture with spring vetch and sowing peas is on June 1, the second sowing term is June 15, the third term is June 30, the row method with row spacing of 30 cm is used, post-sowing rolling with fractional green fodder yield over 32 days from August 15 to September 15 is carried out with the first sowing period yield from 13 to 18 t/ha, the second term from 15 to 19 t/ha, the third term from 11 up to 15 t/ha.

EFFECT: invention allows cultivation of panicled amaranth in its pure form and mixed with legumes (spring vetch, common peas) according to sowing schedule: first sowing term - June 1, second sowing term - June 15, with yield of the first sowing term from August 15 to 25 , the second sowing term from August 26 to September 5, the third sowing term from September 6 to 15 over 32 days.
