FIELD: precision instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gyroscopic technology and can be used in indicator gyrostabilizers. A method for eliminating the loss of operability of the indicator gyroscopic platform consists in turning off the platform stabilization amplifiers with electronic keys when the external angular velocities are exceeded due to the manoeuvre of the carrier, followed by their automatic activation when the external angular velocities decrease as recorded by the signals of the gyroscope switched on by electronic keys in the angular velocity sensor mode. The indicator gyroscopic platform comprises an electromechanical part consisting of a gyroscope, differential angle sensors of the first and second channels of the gyroscope, moment sensors of the first and second channels of the gyroscope, platform angle sensors, platform stabilization motors, and an electronic unit consisting of the first and second platform control amplifiers, the first and the second pre-amplifiers of the platform stabilization channel, the first and second power amplifiers of the platform stabilization channel, electronic switches controlled by the signals of the microcontroller of the electronic unit.

EFFECT: expansion of the possibility of using an indicator gyroscopic platform for more manoeuvrable carriers.
