SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precision instrument-making, particularly to gyroscopic equipment, and can be used in gyroscopic stabilisers. The method of stabilising a gyroscopic platform comprises transmitting a signal from a gyroscope precession angle sensor through a stabilisation amplifier to a stabilising motor, wherein when adjusting stability of the stabilisation loop, the actual coefficient of the stabilisation loop is determined by tipping the gyroscope rotor by a known angle by transmitting a control signal to the gyroscope moment sensor with the stabilising motor turned off, while measuring voltage at the output of the stabilisation amplifier.
EFFECT: invention provides high quality of stabilisation and provides the required system stability margin.
