FIELD: hygiene and medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to manufacturing of foam for hygienic treatment of facial epitheses prostheses. A method for manufacturing a hygienic foam for the care of facial prostheses consists of first pouring deionized water into a mixing container (reactor) at 25°C, then 1,2-pentadiol and isopentyldiol are introduced sequentially with stirring and stirred until a homogeneous solution. After that, sodium cocoamphoacetate is sequentially introduced into the reactor with stirring, with a deduction of % for the solubilization of the preservative mixture, which is a mixture of phenoxyethanol with glyceryl laurate, sodium Laureth-5 carboxylate and stirred until homogeneous, then a preservative mixture of phenoxyethanol with glyceryl laurate is introduced, which is pre-mixed with sodium cocoamphoacetate in a mass ratio of 1:5. The mass is allowed to settle until a homogeneous foam is obtained. The components are used in the following ratio, wt.%: sodium cocoamphoacetate (Sodium Cocoamphoacetate) - 10.0; Isopentyldiol (Isopentyldiol) - 5.0; Laureth-5 sodium carboxylate (Sodium Laureth-5 Carboxylate) - 5.0; 1,2-pentadiol (Pentylene Glycol) - 3.0; phenoxyethanol with glyceryl laurate (Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl Laurate) - 0.9; deionized water (Deionized Water / Aqua) - up to 100.0.
EFFECT: invention enables obtaining a means for effective cleaning of facial prostheses from physical and biological contaminants with a composition of mild, non-irritating action on the mucous membranes and skin integuments of patients with combined defects of the face and jaws.
