FIELD: hygiene and medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the hygienic treatment of facial prostheses. Foam cleansing for surface treatment of facial prostheses is proposed, the said foam cleansing contains the following components in its composition, wt.%: 10.0 of sodium cocoamphoacetate (Sodium Cocoamphoacetate); 5.0 of Isopentyldiol (Isopentyldiol); 5.0 of sodium laureth-5 carboxylate; 3.0 of 1,2-pentadiol (Pentylene Glycol); 0.9 of phenoxyethanol with glyceryl laurate (Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl Laurate); and up to 100.0 of deionized water (Deionized Water/Aqua).
EFFECT: invention provides effective cleaning of dental and facial prostheses from physical and biological contaminants. The proposed composition does not irritate the mucous membranes of the mouth and skin of patients with combined defects of the face and jaws. The treatment of prostheses with the proposed foam reduces the adhesion index of oral microorganisms to the material of prostheses.
