FIELD: medicine, dentistry and hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for hygienic treatment of facial prostheses. The following is proposed: a method of hygienic care for facial prostheses using a product containing in its composition, wt. %: 10.0 of water extract from the wood of the trunk of Scotch pine, subspecies Pinus sylvestris var. Mongolica (Pinus Sylvestris Trunk Water); 2.0 of lactobacillus lysate (Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate); 1.0 of fermented licorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra Fermented Filtrate); 3.0 of 1,2-pentanediol (pentylene glycol); 3.0 of sorbitol; 1.0 of sodium cocoamphoacetate; 0.7 of hydroxyacetophenone; up to 100.0 of deionized water. The said product is applied to the surface of the facial prosthesis in the form of a spray, for 3 minutes, after which it is washed off with running warm water for 30 seconds.
EFFECT: effective cleaning of facial prostheses from physical and biological contaminants, the composition of a soft, non-irritating effect on the mucous membranes and skin of patients with combined defects of the face and jaws.
