METHOD OF DISINFECTING OBJECTS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61L2/14 A61L2/20

Abstract RU 2803470 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of disinfecting objects. The method uses a device for air ionization and creates a directed swirling flow of ionized air by the action of electrostatic forces when voltage is applied to the electrodes located inside the cylindrical body of the device. The method uses a device containing a cylindrical housing, plate electrodes forming a stator, installed in two rows from opposite ends of the stator with equal pitch and with an inclination to the transverse axis of the housing, on the inner surface of the housing with an inclination to the diametral axis and with the possibility of connecting to a voltage source. The edges of these electrodes are made pointed. The device is configured to operate in the ionization mode when a negative polarity voltage is applied to the plate electrodes and in the ozonation mode when a positive polarity voltage is applied to the plate electrodes. To create a stream of ionized and ozonized air directed to the contaminated surface of the treated objects, the device uses a dielectric rotor with an impeller mounted on an axis fixed in a cylindrical body with the possibility of rotation around it under the action of electrostatic forces arising from plate electrodes. The ionization mode is used to deposit radioactive dust by giving it a negative charge and then depositing it on the trapping surfaces. The ozonation mode is used in conditions of biological contamination by treating objects with an air flow with ozone. Aerosols of solutions of disinfectants are introduced into the directed flow of ionized and ozonized air from the reservoirs installed on the body from the back side, with which hollow needle-electrodes emerging into the air flow and an additional electrode moved by a rotary device, electrically connected to a voltage source to create a field of corona discharges and drawing the suspended particles of one of the aerosols into the air stream created by the impeller.

EFFECT: technical result is the expansion of the arsenal of technical means for the intensive disinfection of a large number of items of clothing, tools, machinery and equipment used in emergency areas, with low energy consumption by treating them with an air stream containing a high concentration of negative air ions or ozone, respectively, for dust removal and disinfection of biological environments, and use in the method of one device.
