FIELD: containers.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to a mechanically displaceable container limiter and a method for mechanically limiting a container. In this case, the limiter has a unit containing a block, characterized by the presence of a proximal and distal end with a channel in it from the proximal end to the distal end, the channel is configured to receive the container from the proximal end into the block, the channel is configured to receive the distal end of the container, and the proximal end the container is configured to receive a lid; at least one lever located in close proximity to the distal end of the channel in the block, wherein at least one lever is attached to the block with the possibility of rotation, and the lever is characterized by the presence of a radial portion that extends radially relative to channel, and an axial portion that extends axially relative to the channel, and wherein the radial and axial portions of the lever are rotatable about an axis defined by the rotatable attachment of the lever to the block, wherein at least one lever is mechanically biased with the first bias force, so that a radial portion of the at least one arm extends inward and upward into the channel and an axial portion of the at least one arm extends upward and outward relative to the axis of the channel; wherein, in response to a downward force applied by the container in the channel that exceeds the mechanical displacement force of the at least one lever, the lever is rotatable at the proximal end of the radial portion and the axial portions of the lever such that the distal end of the radial portion is movable downward in response to a downward force applied to the container received by the channel, and the distal end of the axial part is configured to move towards the container in the channel, so that the distal end of the axial part is configured to contact the container with a static friction force (Fs).
EFFECT: limiter does not require computer control or any external power source other than the force applied when inserting the container into the limiter.
