SUBSTANCE: foldable aerodynamic rudder of a rocket. The folding aerodynamic rudder of the rocket contains a rotary part and a root part, a cylindrical torsion bar, a locking mechanism containing compression springs, and clamps. The root part of the rocket's folding aerodynamic rudder consists of a pylon and an axis of rotation. In the rotating part and the pylon of the root part, there are two coaxial holes parallel to each other. A fixed axis of rotation of the rotating part of the folding aerodynamic rudder, fixed to the pylon with a screw, is installed in the upper hole. A cylindrical torsion bar is fixed in the fixed axis with a hexagonal end part, the other end of the torsion bar is pre-twisted in the direction of folding the rocket's aerodynamic rudder and is attached with a knob to the rotating part. The lower hole made on the rotating part is made with the possibility of cocking the locking mechanism of the rotating part. The locking mechanism of the rotating part is located in a hole made in the pylon of the root part and includes clamps, stop bushings of the clamps, compression springs, a tie, which consists of a cylindrical rod, a cut-off threaded cylindrical nut and a bushing mounted on glue. The lead-in part of the clamp and the hole in the pylon are made conical.

EFFECT: ensuring reliable locking of the folding aerodynamic rudder of the rocket.
