FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aircrafts, namely to folding aerodynamic surfaces, mechanisms for their opening and locking. A mechanism for opening and locking handlebars with two folding sections contains a compression spring with a support part located in a root part of the handlebar, and a connecting cable fixed with one end in the main folding section and with the other end in the support part, with balls fixed at ends of the cable. Moreover, the supporting part is made in the form of a support cup, and a hole with a slot for a ball with a cable is formed in the main folding section. At the same time, a plate torsion is installed inside the folding axis of the main section, and a bar torsion is installed to open the end section of the handlebar. In this case, the connecting cable is placed with the circumference of the axis of a pivot connection of the root part and the main section.
EFFECT: advantage of the presented structure is the presence of a locking mechanism, which contains spring-loaded clamps installed in vertical and horizontal holes of folding sections of handlebars, which ensures the immobility of aerodynamic surfaces of an aircraft in a working position, which is one of main parameters affecting the maintenance of a given flight path.
