FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aircrafts, namely to folding aerodynamic surfaces, mechanisms for their opening and locking. A mechanism for opening and locking a handlebar comprises a pylon, a handlebar panel, semi-axes, on which the handlebar panel is rotated, a conical peg fixed in the handlebar panel, a cylindrical retainer with a conical socket acting with a toroidal rim of the socket on a conical surface of the peg to create an opening moment and covering with the conical socket the conical surface of the peg in an opened position, thereby locking the handlebar, a compression spring that creates a force to open the handlebar. In this case, angles of half-opening of the cone of the peg and the retainer are equal and less than the friction angle. Moreover, mechanisms for opening and locking the handlebar are combined into a single compact mechanism, parts of which are bodies of rotation of a simple shape, and the opening moment of the mechanism increases as the handlebar approaches the working position.
EFFECT: presence of a single compact mechanism for opening and locking an aerodynamic handlebar, parts of which are bodies of rotation of a simple shape, which makes it possible to apply this solution in aircrafts of small dimensions.
