SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at increasing the reliability of waterproofing expansion joints in the structures of buildings and structures. Repair waterstop for expansion joints, made in the form of a strip of elastic material, with a cross-section having an edge with a larger area and an edge with a smaller area, while one end section of its cross-section, on the side of the edge with a larger area, is equipped with fixing anchors, and at the other end section there are regular projections. The end section with regular protrusions is located on the side of the edge with a smaller area, and the plane of the edge of this end section is made perpendicular to the plane of the edge of the end section with fixing anchors. In front of the end section with regular projections, the cross-section of the waterstop has a U-shaped projection on the side of the edge with a larger area.
