FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method and device can be used when performing waterproofing in a technological concreting seam when constructing monolithic structures of civil and industrial buildings. The device for connecting sheets of metal waterstop in a technological concreting seam is characterized in that it is made in form of a U-shaped flat bracket made of spring steel, each leg of which is equipped with a bend made of the same material, the edge of which is located at an angle of 150° to the edge of the leg, while the clear distance between the legs l is determined by the formula: l = 2•t1 + 0.9•t2, where t1 is the thickness of the metal waterstop sheet, t2 is the thickness of the sealing sheet material.
EFFECT: ensuring high technological reliability of connecting sheets of metal waterstop in a technological concreting seam.
