SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and can be used for waterproofing in the process seam of concreting during the construction of monolithic structures of civil and industrial buildings. Method of connecting sheets of metal waterstop is characterized by the fact that in place of formation of technological seam of concreting, sheets of metal waterstop are installed vertically and overlapped, overlap width is b, on the vertical ends and on the edges of the inner edges of the sheets, a layer of sealant is applied and an elastic waterproof web is laid between them, the length of which is 3b, so that the ends of the web symmetrically extend beyond the overlap section to the outside, they are wrapped around the vertical ends of the sheets and fixed to the outer edges of the sheets on a layer of sealant, sheets are smoothly shifted relative to each other until tight fit of the web to inner faces is ensured; the sheets are fixed along the overlap length with connecting brackets.

EFFECT: when performing technological operations according to the proposed method, high technological reliability of connection of sheets of a metal waterstop in a technological seam of concreting is provided.
