FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring the viscosity of drilling fluid at the bottom of a well during the drilling process. A device is claimed for measuring the viscosity of a drilling fluid at the bottom of a well during drilling, containing a housing, an oscillating plate and an excitation winding installed in the housing. In this case, the device additionally has a system for collecting vibrations of the plate and a microprocessor connected to a power source, installed in a housing filled with a dielectric liquid and rigidly fixed in the drill pipe. The oscillating plate is made of metal with an independent temperature coefficient of linear expansion - nickel silver in the form of a deployed tuning fork, one branch of which is located in the device body, and the second branch is built into a filter mounted on the body. In this case, the microprocessor is connected to the excitation winding, installed with a gap to the plate, and the vibration pickup system of the plate, also installed with a gap to the plate and above the excitation winding, is connected to the communication channel between the bottom hole and the wellhead.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability and accuracy of measuring the viscosity of the drilling fluid at the bottom of the well directly during the drilling process.
