FIELD: vehicle.

SUBSTANCE: testing of current collectors for a vehicle. Device for testing current collectors of electric rolling stock contains a base with a current collector installed on it, the skid of which is brought into contact with a piece of a contact wire fixed on a block for simulating the rigidity of a contact suspension connected to a control system and installed on a truss, one end of which is hinged to the base, and the other end is connected by means of a crank mechanism to a drive mounted on the base and connected to the control system. At the same time, the block for simulating the rigidity of the contact suspension is made in the form of two segments of the chain, between which a segment of the contact wire is fixed, while the end of the first segment of the chain is connected to the truss by means of a tension spring, and the end of the second segment of the chain is connected through a tension sensor to the tension device installed on the truss, associated with the control system. At the same time, the section of the contact wire is equipped with a pressure sensor and is made with the possibility of installing additional weights on it. The outputs of these tension and pressure sensors are connected to the input of the control system.

EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the device for testing current collectors.
