FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing current collectors for a vehicle. Device for imitation of catenary during testing of current collectors contains a closed circuit connected by radial spokes, on which posts are fixed with possibility of movement along them, to which by means of elastic elements a simulator of catenary made of contact wire and interacting with current collector is connected. Each elastic element is equipped with a stiffness control device. Device for adjusting the stiffness of the elastic elements is made in the form of a slider embracing the elastic element rigidly fixed by one end on the post with possibility of movement along it. Slider is connected to a movable stop, which is installed with possibility of movement along the guide fixed on the post and parallel to the elastic element. Said stop is connected to the rod of the linear electromechanical actuator, the housing of which is connected to the post, and the control circuit of the actuator is connected to the control panel by means of a wireless communication channel.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities and higher accuracy of device operation.
