FIELD: medicine; gynecology; endocrinology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the risk of reproductive disorders in women with subclinical and overt hypothyroidism. The level of serum creatine phosphokinase, blood plasma thyroid-stimulating hormone, blood plasma free thyroxine, blood serum homocysteine is determined, and echography of the pelvic organs is performed. When the level of creatine phosphokinase is more than 60 U/l, thyroid-stimulating hormone is more than 2.5 mcIU/ml, free thyroxine is less than 12.5 pmol/l, homocysteine is above 11.88 mcmol/l, there is no ovulated follicle in the ovary in the second phase of the menstrual cycle, development of reproductive disorders in women with subclinical and manifest hypothyroidism is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables to increase the accuracy of predicting the risk of reproductive disorders in women with subclinical and manifest hypothyroidism by determining the level of creatine phosphokinase, thyroid-stimulating hormone, free thyroxine, homocysteine in the patient’s blood, and the results of echography of the pelvic organs.
