FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: device contains an upper scraper connected to a traction element connector, and a lower scraper connected to a weight. The scrapers contain bodies connected to each other along the longitudinal axial line of the device with a rotation relative to one another; the scraper cutters are made radially convex in the direction of the wall of the pipe being cleaned. The body of each scraper is made in the form of a frame with sides symmetrical relative to the longitudinal centreline, each side of the frame contains a central vertical section, an upper and a lower sections inclined in relation to the longitudinal centreline. The upper and the lower sections of the opposite sides of the frame are connected to each other to form correspondingly narrowed upper and lower sections of the frame; cutters are rigidly attached to the opposite central vertical sections of the frame. Each cutter is made of a plate having a shape close to a quadrangle with two pairs of adjacent sides of the same length. One part of each cutter is limited to the first pair of adjacent sides with angle α between them, and the other part of the cutter is limited by the second pair of adjacent sides with angle β between them, each cutter is oriented along the longitudinal centreline of the device at angle α upwards and at angle β downwards The frames are rotated relative to each other at an angle of 90°, the projections of the enveloping cutters of both scrapers form a circle in plan. The outer edges of the inclined sections of the frame, facing up and down, are made with double-sided sharpening, the outer edges of the sides of the cutter plates are made with one-sided internal sharpening.

EFFECT: efficiency of the device, reliability, and service life are increased, the design is simplified, and maintainability is increased.
