DEVICE FOR CLEANING OIL-FIELD PIPES FROM PARAFFIN (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC E21B37/02 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: device includes winch with drum and motor, which is connected to control unit, wire with a scraper on the end, control system consisting of lever, roller and sensor, which monitors wire tension and scraper position. As per the first version, motor speed governor is connected to control unit; and device is equipped with two weight sensors one of which is installed and tuned to maximum spring force of the lever acting on the roller, and the other one is installed and tuned to minimum spring force of the lever. Spring consists of two and more parts with different characteristics and on the roller there installed is scraper location detector in the form of contactless sensor and roller rotation direction detector in the form of the other contactless sensor located with an offset relative to the first one in circumferential direction diametrically relative to holes provided on the roller. Scraper is made in the form of housing carrying the annular blades with triangular cross section and one end hollow conical blade. Device is equipped with scraper weighting material in the form of spring installed in lubricator, and stuffing box for wire is equipped with gaskets from elastomer and gaskets from rigid material.

EFFECT: improving operating efficiency and reliability; simplifying scraper design.
