FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the side bearing pads of railway vehicles. The pad contains a base with an annular ledge, a centring ledge and two lateral protruding parts. Above the base is a plate with an annular protrusion. The annular ledges of the plate and the base are telescopically connected to each other. A heat insulator is located between the plate and the elastomeric element. J-shaped recesses are made on the side parts of the annular protrusion of the base. In the recesses there are locking latches with a central axis and two tips. One tip is located inside the annular protrusion of the base, and the second - outside.
EFFECT: possibility of self-disassembly of the side bearing pad is excluded.
