FIELD: LEDs.
SUBSTANCE: methods for increasing the efficiency of organic light emitting diodes based on lanthanide complexes. A method for increasing the efficiency of an organic light-emitting diode based on compounds of rare earth elements due to the effect of plasmon resonance, including the introduction of gold nanoparticles into the heterostructure of an organic light-emitting diode, is proposed.
EFFECT: due to the manifestation of the effect of surface plasmon resonance, the lifetime of the excited state of the complex decreases, which leads to an increase in the efficiency and brightness of the electroluminescence of organic light emitting diodes.
