FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing emission layers that are widely used in devices of organic thin-film transistors, organic solar cells, organic light-emitting diodes. Method for producing emission layer based on rare-earth element compounds is proposed. Method comprises preparing a phosphor mixture with a transport material and applying a thin film of this mixture to a substrate. As a phosphor, terbium, europium, neodymium, erbium or ytterbium are used. Transport material is an organic transport material capable of forming a complex with the metal of the phosphor, which exhibits ionic luminescence of the metal at room temperature upon irradiation with UV light in the range 250–350 nm, the intensity of which is higher than the intensity of the luminescence of the chloride of the corresponding metal. Organic light-emitting diode is also provided, comprising an emission layer obtained by the above method.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the intensity of the electroluminescence of the phosphor entering the emission layer and the expansion of the OLED arsenal with an emission layer based on rare-earth elements.
