FIELD: bioinformatics.

SUBSTANCE: system for modeling molecular interactions involved in the inflammatory process in a subject is disclosed, including the following: (I) a data processing unit comprising the following: (a) a database including a plurality of data sets, each of which includes the following: (i) at least one identifier of a molecule suspected of being involved in a pathological process, (ii) data on molecular interaction of the said molecule with one or more other molecules, and (iii) at least one data feature allocated to the data set, where each data set is related in at least one relationship to another data set in a database based on molecular interactions. The data sets are grouped into data sections, including data sets containing identical data characteristics; and the characteristics of the data indicate a biological function of the molecule in the inflammatory process. Transcriptomic data obtained from a subject after medicinal product administration is also provided in the database, and this transcriptomic data is used to model datasets in the database; and a computer program-based algorithm included in the data processing unit that generates a network map based on the plurality of data sets in the database and that allows nodes in the network map to be identified based on predetermined parameters. The system also includes an imaging unit that allows to identify molecular interactions involved in the inflammatory process in identified nodes. Besides, a corresponding way to model molecular interactions is presented.

EFFECT: invention expands the arsenal of tools for modeling molecular interactions for disease assessment and disease therapy.
