FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method includes elimination of polypous tissue and application of immunotherapy in post-operative period. Immunotherapy is performed with interleukin-1 receptor antagonist on the basis of genotyping of allelic polymorphism of cytokine gene and data of allergy test, carried out in pre-operative period. If combination "2/2", "1/2" of interleukin IL-lβ gene and "1/1" gene of IL-1RA antagonist is detected in patient, high efficiency of anti-recurrence therapy, conditioned by reduction of anti-inflammatory cytokine level, is predicted.
EFFECT: purposeful treatment of chronic polypous rhinosinusitis in combination with allergic rhinitis with IL-1RA preparation on the basis of patient's individual responsiveness to treatment with said medication in order to eliminate side effects of therapy.
