FIELD: geological exploration; aerial electrical prospecting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of exploration of mineral deposits, as well as monitoring of territories and can be used during geological exploration, in particular for aerial electrical prospecting. The essence of the invention is as follows. A device for carrying out geological exploration using unmanned aerial vehicles, including an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and a measuring system, including: stabilizing device installed on the UAV, a telescopic cable connected to a stabilizing device, meters and a generator loop attached to the telescopic cable, generator installed on the UAV power supply to the generator loop. In this case, the stabilizing device is designed to compensate for the deviation of the telescopic cable in the vertical plane in the direction of movement of the UAV. The method of carrying out geological exploration using a UAV includes the following stages: measuring the deviation of the telescopic cable from the vertical plane in the direction of movement of the UAV, compensating for the deviation of the telescopic cable to its original vertical position.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of the obtained geological information about the study area, ensuring the possibility of carrying out works in difficult terrain, as well as reducing the time of geological exploration work.
