FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to remote magnetometric survey. Essence: setting the number of shooting levels, but not less than two. Lengths of the greatest and smallest sides of the study area are determined for each of the survey levels. Length of the sides of each next level of shooting shall be greater than the lengths of the corresponding sides of the previous level, forming an inverted truncated pyramid. The survey is performed at each level on the study area.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling the object of investigation resolution by depth (that is volumetric geomagnetic model), higher reliability of geological interpretation of survey data and data on the investigated object, reducing flight area at lower levels and/or processing time of data obtained during flight.
