FIELD: smoking equipment.

SUBSTANCE: vaporizer device and a cartridge for it. The cartridge includes a cartridge housing, a reservoir and a fuse housing located in the cartridge housing, a heating element and a fuse element. The cartridge housing is configured to extend below the open top of the receptacle in the vaporizer device when the cartridge is coupled to the vaporizer device. The reservoir is configured to contain the vaporized material. The heating element includes a heating section located at least partially within the fuse housing and a contact section located at least partially outside the fuse housing. The contact section may include cartridge contacts that form an electrical connection to the socket contacts in the socket. The fuse element is located in the fuse casing and adjacent to the heating section of the heating element. The fuse element is configured to draw the vaporized material into the fuse casing for evaporation by means of the heating element. The fuse housing is located at least partially in the socket when connecting the cartridge to the vaporizer device.

EFFECT: provides the ability for liquid vaporized material pushed into the manifold to be reversibly drawn into the storage chamber when the pressure in the storage chamber is reduced and/or equalized relative to ambient pressure, as well as the ability to prevent or reduce leakage of vaporized material, trap air bubbles in the storage chamber and/or overflow volume.
