SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a conveying installation for applicators (100) for tampons, having a first conveyor track (2) containing two transport belts (3.1, 3.2), which are spaced from each other and each of which has a support axis (L1, L2). The conveying installation in accordance with the invention additionally has a first conveyor drive (4) designed to drive at least one of the two spaced apart conveyor belts (3.1, 3.2), wherein the conveyor belts are spaced apart from each other in such a way that that the tampon applicator (100) to be transported rests on both transport belts in the interval (D) between the transport belts. The supporting axes (L1, L2) of the conveyor belts (3.1, 3.2) are arranged in parallel, in particular in the case of conveyor belts having the same transport direction (F).
EFFECT: development of a conveying installation for tampon applicators and a method for transporting tampon applicators that meets the strict requirements of the continuous assembly of tampon applicators and, in the process, allows for careful handling of tampon applicators.
