FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to control the axial and central alignment of mechanical structures and can be used in assembly of drives of control and protection system (CPS) installed in nozzles located on the cover of the upper block of a VVER type reactor plant. A device for checking the axial alignment of vertically joined parts includes a mandrel with a position indicator installed on the upper part, made in form of a hollow cylinder with a support flange, and a mandrel installed in the hole of the lower of the vertically joined parts, which is passed through the upper mandrel and consists of two parts connected by a rod, the upper one, with a position indicator fixed on it, and the lower one, made in form of the lower part of the wedging mechanism installed in the hole. The rod connecting the two parts of the mandrel installed in the lower part is made hollow and it contains a central rod with a cone that controls the wedging mechanism, which is represented by a body fixed on the rod, in the side grooves of which wedge elements are placed, which are moved apart by the cone when it moves along the helical surface central rod.
EFFECT: possibility to control axial alignment of vertically joined parts with limited access.
