FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in circulating service water supply systems of various industrial enterprises and power plants. The claimed invention consists in turning off the upper collector of the peripheral irrigation zone and distributing the entire volume of water between the upper and lower headers of the water distribution of the central irrigation zone located inside the perimeter of the annular partition, whereas spray nozzles 7 of the lower header are located directly under the sprinkler at a distance that allows the sprayed water to irrigate the lower surface of the sprinkler and penetrate dynamic drip flows into the sprinkler, the upper level consists of independent water distribution circuits: central 8 and peripheral 9 irrigation zones, the headers of the central zone are separated from the header of peripheral zone 9 by vertical annular partition 10 around the perimeter, and the lower water distribution header is located under the central sprinkler irrigation zones.
EFFECT: prevention of icing of cooling tower structures and provision of cooling efficiency.
