FIELD: dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to a heating element for a dental firing furnace, as well as to a dental firing furnace with a heating element. A heating element for a dental firing furnace has a tube element for receiving a heating coil inside the tube element. At least locking element is connected to at least one open end of the pipe element. Electrical contacts are passed through the locking element and fused to the element.
EFFECT: according to the invention, a tube element made of ceramic material, in particular oxide ceramics, is connected by means of several intermediate/transition glasses and glass solder to compensate for different coefficients of thermal expansion with the connecting part in such a way that, with a thermal effect of up to 500°C, no gas can escape from the tube element, thus ensuring the operational reliability of the heating element.
