FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: used in underground mining of flat coal seams. The method for carrying out mining operations when developing flat coal beds includes coal cutting, primary fastening of the mine workings with anchors of the first stage and its subsequent strengthening with additional anchors of the second stage. The installation of the first stage anchor support is carried out simultaneously with the re-tensioning of the roof and sides of the excavation using metal lattice. At the second stage, injection strengthening of the excavation sides is carried out with polymer resins to a depth not less than the width of the zone of the limiting state of coal in the excavation side.
EFFECT: increasing the drifting rate and the safety of work during intensive mining of flat coal beds.
