FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary preparation of extraction front by construction of working platform at the projection of the section board or at its bottom along the spread line on the soil level of the developed bed; erection of deep bed development complex on the working platform ; coal extraction by means of the above complex off the working platform by conducting parallel mine workings of rectangular section so that pillars are left; transportation of broken coal along the mine working to the working platform and its loading to the transport vehicle or stockpiling. Second working is started from mine working in the layer near the roof of the bed with roof bolting; at that, some part of the complex, which is located on the soil of the performed mine working, is used as the base of anchor setting device. Then, deepening of the drilled mine working to the bed soil is performed. The second mine working is performed in similar way so that a pillar is left between the first and the second mine workings.

EFFECT: increasing development efficiency of thick flat coal bed.
