FIELD: pipe lining.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to lining for pipes such as kitchen and sewer pipes. More particularly, the present invention is related to a light head for use in pipe lining. A light head (100) for use in pipe lining comprises a proximal end cap (104) with a fluid inlet (180), a distal end cap (108), and at least one housing (110a, 110b) located between the cap (104) of the proximal end and a cap (108) of the distal end. The housing (110a, 110b) has a longitudinal passage (116) extending from the proximal end cap (104) to the centre of the housing (110a, 110b). At least one transverse channel (120) extends transversely from the longitudinal passage (116) to an outlet (122) on the lateral outer side of the housing (110a, 110b). At least one LED plate (140) is located on the side outer side of the housing (110a, 110b) over the outlet (122). The LED plate (140) has a first surface and a second surface, the first surface including at least one LED (144) for emitting light from the light head (100) toward the tube. At least one spacer (130) between the LED plate (140) and the housing (110a, 110b) creates a gap between the plate (140) and the housing (110a, 110b). The longitudinal passage (116) is configured to receive fluid from the fluid inlet (180) such that, in use, fluid from the inlet (180) passes through said at least one transverse passage (120) of the housing (110a, 110b), enters the second surface of the LED plate (140) and exits through the gap formed by the at least one spacer (130).

EFFECT: light head for use in pipe lining is proposed.
