SUBSTANCE; group of inventions is related to catecholamine-based prodrugs for use in treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and disorders. A compound of formula (Id), wherein R1 is H and R2 is selected from one of substituents (i) and (ii); or R1 is selected from one of substituents (i) and (ii) below, and R2 represents H; or R1 and R2 are simultaneously represented by substituent (i) below; or R1 and R2 are simultaneously represented by substituent (ii) below; or R1 is substituent (i) and R2 is substituent (ii); or R1 is substituent (ii) and R2 is substituent (i); where * denotes the attachment point; and the carbon atom at the point of attachment at the substituent (i) is in the S-configuration; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, are disclosed. In addition, a pharmaceutical composition having dopamine agonist activity and containing a therapeutically effective amount of the above compound, methods for treating a neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disease, and in addition, the use of the compound Id for the treatment of diseases and for production of a medicinal product are disclosed.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides effective treatment of neurodegenerative diseases through prodrug compounds with optimal pharmacokinetic profiles.
